Want better ad performance, smarter targeting, and insight into what’s working? Facebook Pixel is your first step. This guide walks you through setting it up so you can track conversions, refine your ads, and retarget your visitors — no coding experience needed.
🚀 What is Facebook Pixel?
Facebook Pixel is a tiny piece of code you add to your website that tracks user actions — like clicks, form submissions, or purchases — from your Facebook ads.
It helps you:
Track performance of your ads
Optimize campaigns based on real data
Build lookalike audiences
Retarget visitors who didn’t convert
🔍 Why It Matters
If you’re spending on ads but not tracking what happens after someone clicks, you’re flying blind. With Facebook Pixel, you’ll know:
Which ads drive sales or leads
What pages users engage with
How to improve your targeting

In Events Manager, go to the Test Events tab
Enter your landing page URL and open it in a new tab

Step 5 – Start Tracking & Build Custom Audiences
Once the pixel is active, you can create an audience to retarget visitors:
Go to Audiences in Business Manager
Choose Create Audience → Custom Audience → Website
Select your Pixel
Choose the event type (e.g., PageView)
Set retention (up to 180 days)
Name your audience and save
Your audience will take a little time to populate with data from new visits.
