🔍 Why Use Google Analytics?

Google Analytics helps you:

  • Track real-time and historical traffic

  • Understand where your audience comes from

  • Monitor link clicks and engagement

  • Identify what’s working (and what’s not)

🛠 Step-by-Step: Connect Google Analytics to OFMPro

Step 1 – Create a Google Analytics Account

  1. Visit Google Analytics and sign in with your Google account.

Don’t have one yet? Create a Google account first.

  1. Click “Start Measuring” to begin setup.

  2. Set Up Your Account: Name your analytics account (e.g., "MyBusiness Analytics").

  3. Create a Property:

    • Give your property a name

    • Select your local time zone and currency

    • Choose your business objectives (e.g., lead generation, engagement)

  4. Set Up a Data Stream:

    • Choose Web as your platform

    • Enter your website URL and name your stream

    • Click Create Stream

Step 2 – Find Your GA4 Measurement ID

Once your data stream is created, you’ll be shown a Measurement ID — it looks like this: G-XXXXXXXXXX.

This ID is all you need to connect GA4 to OFMPro.

Step 3 – Add Your Analytics ID to OFMPro

  1. Log into your OFMPro dashboard

  2. Edit your existing landing page or create a new one

  3. Navigate to Page Content > Advanced Settings

  4. Paste your GA4 Measurement ID into the Google Analytics field

Step 4 – Verify That Tracking Is Working

  1. Go back to your Google Analytics dashboard

  2. Under Data Streams, click on your stream name

  3. Use the built-in Tag Assistant tool to check if your code is active

  4. Alternatively, view the Real-Time Report to see live activity after opening your landing page

Optional – Use the GA4 Setup Assistant

For more advanced tracking:

  1. Go to the Admin section

  2. Open Setup Assistant

  3. Enable features like:

    • Google Signals (for cross-device tracking)

    • Audience creation

    • Key event setup

    • Consent preferences

Step 5 – Analyze Your Visitor Data

Your Google Analytics dashboard will begin collecting and displaying key metrics like:

  • Total visitors

  • Average session time

  • Bounce rate

  • Conversion paths

  • Audience demographics

📈 See Where Your Visitors Come From

To track traffic sources:

  1. In the left menu, go to Reports > Acquisition > User Acquisition

  2. Change the dropdown to show “First user source / medium”

  3. You’ll see whether traffic is from Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, etc.

✅ You’re All Set!

With Google Analytics connected, you now have visibility into how your landing page is performing. Make it a habit to check your reports and adjust your marketing strategy based on real data.
