πŸ› οΈ Step-by-Step Guide

πŸ“„ How to Create and Name Your First Watchlist

Goal: Learn exactly where to find the feature and how to launch your first curated list.

Ready to personalize your feed? Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Locate the Trends Tab: Navigate to the Trends screen for your chosen platform (Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter/X).

  2. Open the Filter Menu: Click on the Filters button to reveal your customization options.

  3. Initialize Your Watchlist: Under the "Custom Watchlists" section, click on "Add New Watchlist".

  4. Give it a Purpose: Assign a clear name to your list. Try descriptive titles like "Content Inspiration" or "Industry Benchmarks" so you can instantly recognize your focus later.

πŸ“„ Adding Accounts via Usernames, Links, or Bulk Paste

Goal: Discover the fastest ways to populate your Watchlist with target profiles.

You can add profiles to your list in three flexible ways, designed to save you time:

  • Direct Username: Simply type the @username and press enter.

  • Profile URLs: Paste the full link (Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter/X) and our system will automatically extract the username for you.

  • Bulk Import: Have a list ready? Paste multiple usernames or links at once, separating them with commas (e.g., user1, user2, user3) to import your entire strategy in one click.

πŸ“„ Understanding Platform-Specific Filtering

Goal: Learn how Watchlists stay organized across different social networks.

To ensure your research remains relevant and clutter-free, Watchlists are platform-specific. This means your workflow stays sharp:

  • Context is Key: A list created while browsing Instagram Trends is exclusive to Instagram.

  • Independent Tracking: When you switch to TikTok or Twitter/X, you can create a completely different set of lists tailored to the unique creators and content styles of those platforms.

  • Focus: This separation prevents your video inspiration on TikTok from being mixed with text-based trends from Twitter/X.

πŸ“„ How to Edit, Remove Users, or Delete a Watchlist

Goal: Keep your lists updated as your social media strategy evolves.

Social media moves fast, and your Watchlists can too. To manage your existing lists, click the edit icon next to the Watchlist name in the filter menu:

  • Add New Voices: Keep growing your list by adding new usernames or links at any time.

  • Refine Your Feed: Remove profiles that are no longer relevant by clicking the "X" or "Remove" button next to their name.

  • Clean Up: If a specific project is over, you can delete the entire Watchlist to keep your menu organized and focused on current goals.
